DIY Christmas/Holiday Candles--great gifts!

These are so simple to do!  I used things like burlap, vintage lace, ornaments, fabric, and sprigs.  And of course, my bff, my hot glue gun!  They make great gifts (and it's always fun to keep a couple for your own home)!  Would love to see pics of yours!!!!

Holiday Decorating

Love making these.  Burlap, vintage lace, sprigs, even some brown lunch sacks!  I like to use flameless candles to prevent any kind of accident.

Reflecting....

Never been one to conform.  Never been one to be terribly conventional.  It's likely a very good thing there aren't too many of us out there that would do things like this.  But at 50 years old, I have finally reached the acceptance point, and am almost grateful that I am, and that I do....

DIY POC PROJECT! (Christmas Candle Light)

Another piece-of-cake (poc) project!  Small basket, painted gold, some ornaments (dollar store, thrift store, your boxes in the attic!), some sprigs of greens, a flameless candlestick, and an ornatment.  Done!

BFF'S

Yes, that's a deer.  Yes, that's a cat.  And yes, that's their bed.

See?!  We can all just get along!

DIY Candle Lights--about 3 bucks!

DON'T bypass the summer clearance aisle!  I purchased these terra cotta/stucco bird voltive holders in that aisle!  Painted 'em, glued a battery operated candlestick, and gussied them up with some greens!  Piece of cake, and super cheap to do (about 3 bucks)!

Mixing it Up

I really love black and brown (specifically wood) together.

And I love a mix of styles....retro, modern, primitive, shabby.
